A large state-held cedar swamp and pond straddling New Bedford and Dartmouth, reached on foot by informal trails from roadside pull-offs.

getting there: No formal entrance or street address. Per DCR resource management plan, visitors park on road shoulders on Shawmut Ave, New Plainville Rd and Old Plainville Rd (New Bedford) and High Hill Road (Dartmouth); formal parking lots are closed.
